4. Next, fold the orange ribbon from left to right and slip it into the pink ribbon loop.
5. Gently tighten all the ribbons, form an even square. We straighten all the tapes.

The ribbons do not need to be tightened too much, otherwise the bauble will be uneven.

Repeat all five steps until the ribbon reaches the desired length. You will see that the bauble turns out to be quite voluminous.

Many people like this bauble because it can be worn not only in its original form, i.e. square, but also twisted with a spiral. To do this, it is enough to twist the finished bauble slightly, but very carefully to prevent deformation of the product.

Handle such a square bauble with care. With strong stretching, the ribbons can twist, in which case the bauble will no longer return to its original form, but will be like this:

Round ribbon baubles

You can also weave round baubles from ribbons. Such a round bracelet is woven from Chinese "lotus" knots. It will take about an hour to work. Tighten the knots very tightly, then the cord (the bauble itself) will turn out to be tough and will not lose shape for a long time.

So, we need two ribbons 2 or 2.5 m long or 4 ribbons 1.5 m each. In the first case, satin ribbons are placed crosswise and fixed with a pin.

In the case of weaving baubles from four ribbons, they need to be folded together, tied in a knot, after stepping back 10 cm for ties. The knot is also fixed with a pin.

After that, we tighten the ribbons into a knot and straighten them.

Then the knot must be pulled tighter:

1. One ribbon (light) lies straight, the second (dark) lies on top of the light ribbon in the form of an arch.
2. Now we turn the light ribbon to the right so that it lies on top of the dark ribbon, also forming an arch. In this case, the two arches are perpendicular to each other.
3. Next, the dark ribbon should be lifted up so that it lies on top of the light ribbon, forming an inverted arch.
4. The light ribbon, in turn, bends to the left and passes not only over the brown ribbon, but also under it (look carefully at the photo!)

We repeat the above sequence of actions until the cord reaches the desired length.

That is, the basis of weaving a round baubles is a four-stage intersection of arches from ribbons. Then they are transformed into one square, which is then pulled tight. It turns out a beautiful elegant cord.

It can be used not only as a bracelet, but also as another decorative element. It can decorate children's things, be a keychain, it can be used to make a beautiful headband or handles for a child's handbag - why not? If you weave a round bauble tightly enough, there will be no doubt about the strength of such a product.

Now you know how to make ribbon baubles. But this is not all weaving options. Experiment!

Instruction

Take two long satin ribbons of the same width. For starters, two different colors will be enough for you - for example, black and orange. The length of each ribbon must be at least one meter.

Fold the ends of the two ribbons together and tie a looped knot. Then, on each tape, make 2 loops no more than 10-15 cm long and lay them on top of each other. Pass the loop on the black tape through the loop on the orange tape and tighten the orange loop. After that, make a loop on the orange ribbon again. Pass it through the black loop and tighten the black ribbon. You will have an orange loop in your hands, to which you need to fold the black loop again.

Pass the black loop through the orange one, and tighten the orange loop. Make an orange loop, then thread it through the black loop and tighten it. Continue the bracelet, alternating and tightening the loops until the bracelet reaches the desired length. Pull the loops of the same length and tighten them not too much - so that the bracelet is neat and the ribbons are intertwined evenly.

At first, you can fix the end of the loop on the base with a pin so as not to lose it. As a result, you should succeed with the original square weave. Tie a regular knot at the end of the baubles.

With the help of such weaving, you can make both independent and braid for clothing items, as well as, with braid woven in this way, you can decorate various interior items - flower pots, glasses for pens, and much more.

You can try to create a twisted bauble no longer from two, but from four ribbons. To do this, take four ribbons of different colors. It is best to use ribbons about 5-7 mm wide. The length must be at least two meters. You can take not four, but two four-meter ribbons and start weaving by tying them in the middle.

To weave a twisted bauble, you first need to step back about fifteen centimeters from the edge and tie a knot. This residue is necessary in order to tie a bauble later. Spread the four ribbons in different directions perpendicular to each other. Bend the top ribbon towards you to make a loop. Lay the top tape on the right. Now take the right ribbon and fold it into a loop through the top ribbon you laid earlier. Put the right tape on the bottom one. Next, take the bottom ribbon and bend it as well, then lay it on the left ribbon. Bend the left ribbon as well and thread it through the top loop. Gently stretch all four ribbons in different directions so that the loops will secure your ribbons. Just don't drag them. Don't worry if you don't see a clear pattern on the first row. After you have stretched the tapes, lay them out again in different directions and repeat all the above steps. Already on the second row you can clearly trace your drawing. Repeat the above steps until the length of the baubles is perfect for you. At the end, simply fasten the ribbons and tie the bracelet around your hand.

From two satin ribbons of different colors, you can weave a square bauble, which can also become an excellent keychain. Take two satin ribbons of different colors. The length must be taken at least four meters. To make it easier to understand the process, let one tape be blue and the other white. You can take any other colors. Fold the ribbons in half. Place the blue ribbon with the ends away from you on the table. Lay the white ribbon perpendicular to the blue one exactly in the middle. The hinges should be respectively below and on the right. Take the top white ribbon and carefully place it over the right blue one and under the left blue one. Now bend the same ribbon to the right and place it above the blue ribbon. Take the right blue ribbon by the tip and slide it down over the others, at the bottom white ribbon, pass the blue ribbon under. The main thing is that this action is performed in the middle between the two blue ribbons.

Now take two blue ribbons and start pulling in different directions. Just do it very carefully. After pulling a little, go to the white ribbons and also smoothly pull them in different directions. And so on until a drawing of four squares is obtained.

Now fold the right white ribbon so that it turns to the left. Also fold the top blue one and place it on top of the white one. Lay the left white ribbon on top of the previously folded blue ribbon so that the end of it is on the right. Lay the remaining blue ribbon over the bottom white ribbon and thread it through the loop created when the top white ribbon was folded. Pull evenly on all ends to make four squares again.
