Thus, the draft Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation "On the postponement of days off in 2015" provides for the following transfers:

  • Saturday 3 January 2015 to Friday 9 January 2015;
  • Sunday 4 January 2015 to Monday 4 May 2015

The production calendar is an important document that is published for the whole year. Every resident of the Russian Federation is always looking forward to it, because you can plan your vacation using it. The calendar indicates how many days off will be for the New Year, May and other holidays, as well as the working hours.

Our article is devoted to the approved production calendar for 2015. Let's see what this calendar is and why it is needed.

What is a calendar and where is it used?

The production calendar is used in any enterprise, in any organization. Specialists of the personnel and accounting departments cannot do without it, because it is on it that they need to draw up a work plan for the whole year. The calendar contains the following information:

  • the number of working days in each month and in total for the year;
  • data on weekends and working days;
  • pre-holiday days, when the working day is reduced by an hour;
  • working time standards.

For convenience, all the information contained in the production calendar is divided into monthly, quarterly and semi-annual periods. Monthly and annual norms of working time are especially important, since they calculation of hourly rates. These data must be accurate and reliable, because the whole country is guided by them.

On the basis of this calendar, an accountant can carry out all operations, namely, calculate wages, calculate sick leave, draw up a vacation schedule for employees, and form a work plan.

The personnel department also uses it when accounting for working hours. Be sure to carefully check the calendar to avoid errors and inaccuracies in the calculation of salaries. Yes, and it is very useful for employees to get acquainted with it in order to plan vacations and New Year holidays. Based on this document, various types of reporting to government agencies are prepared.

This calendar is based on the norms of labor legislation, mainly on the provisions of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Who approves and when?

The production calendar itself is not approved, it can be found on the Internet or on the Consultant + portal. But it is compiled on the basis of legal norms - every year, a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation approves the transfer of days off in the new year. This is done in order to rationalize the use of non-working days. The resolution is adopted in the second half of this year.

As for 2015, the government took care of the transfer in advance - August 27, 2014. The transfer project was prepared by the Russian tripartite commission for the regulation of social and labor relations. The rules for the year established by the resolution are not subject to change or revision and are final.

Also, the calendar is based on the provisions of the Labor Code, as mentioned earlier. The fundamental articles are articles 91-93, 101-105 and 112. The last are non-working holidays that are permanently in force in the Russian Federation.

Holidays, holiday days and other important nuances in 2015

This is what the official calendar for 2015 looks like:

In accordance with the Labor Code, holidays in 2015, and therefore days off, will be the following dates:

  • January 1-8– New Year holidays and Christmas;
  • February 23- Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8- International Women's Day;
  • The 1 of May- Spring Festival;
  • 9th May- Victory Day;
  • 12 June- Russia Day;
  • November 4- National Unity Day.

As a general rule, if a holiday coincides with a weekend, then it must be moved to the day that follows the holiday, if it is a working day. The only exception to this rule is non-working days in January.

A working day followed by a holiday is reduced by one hour. And this applies not only to those who work full time, but also to those who work part-time or shift.

In 2015, the government postponed the following days off: from January 3rd to January 9th, from January 4th to May 4th. All transfers without fail take into account the legislative norm, according to which the weekly uninterrupted rest is at least 42 hours.

Thus, in January there are more days off than workers, this is the shortest working month: we have 16 days of rest, and 15 we work. The New Year holidays will be, taking into account all the transfers, 11 days - January 1-11.

3 days of rest are also provided in February, we celebrate Men's Day - from February 21-23. Women will also have a spring holiday from 7 to 9 March. In the spring, when the weather improves, it is always more pleasant to relax, so there will be long holidays - May 1-4 and May 9-11. There are a total of 13 days off in May. Russia Day is celebrated from 12 to 14 June. In November, there will be no chance to rest for several days; only one day is allotted for the celebration of National Unity Day.

Council of accountants: it is preferable to take a vacation in those months in which there are the most working days, then the amount of vacation pay will be larger. This year, those months will be December and July. This applies only to employees with a fixed salary.

It is impossible not to mention that 2015 is a very important historical date, this is also indicated in the production calendar. This year is marked by the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Despite the fact that the transfer schedule changes every year or the holidays fall on different dates, we have about the same number of days off from year to year.

An interesting fact is that our country is the leader in the number of days off. In the upcoming 2015, one third of the calendar year is non-working days. Just imagine, 118 days off! And this is without taking into account annual leave, which is usually 28 days, and for some categories of workers it is even longer due to additional days.

How to calculate the norm of working hours for any month without the help of a calendar? This is done as follows: the duration of the working week - 40, 36 or 24 hours must be divided by 5, and then multiplied by the number of working days of the calculated month. From the amount received, you need to subtract those hours by which working hours are reduced on the eve of the holidays. Similarly, the annual calculation of working hours is made.

Here's an example: January is the shortest month for work. If your work week is 40 hours, then 40/5 = 8 hours. There are 15 working days in January, which means 8 * 15 = 120 hours. If a week contains 36 hours, then 36/5=7.2*15=108 hours.

The production calendar of Russia for 2015 contains information on how many working days are in a year, how Russians relax, how many days the New Year holidays, May holidays last, as well as the transfer of weekends and non-working holidays. It provides working time norms for months, quarters, half-years and for the whole year with a 40-, 36- and 24-hour five-day working week.

Weekends and public holidays 2015

According to the production calendar 2015, non-working holidays in Russia (approved by Article 112 of the Labor Code) will be the following days:

  • January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 - New Year holidays;
  • January 7 - Christmas;
  • February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8 - International Women's Day;
  • May 1 - Spring and Labor Day;
  • May 9 - Victory Day;
  • June 12 - Day of Russia;
  • November 4 - National Unity Day.

If a public holiday falls on a weekend, it is moved to the next working day after the holiday. For example, in 2015, International Women's Day, March 8, falls on Sunday, so the day off is moved to Monday, March 9. On the eve of official state holidays, working time is reduced by 1 hour, the same for both 40-, 36- and 24-hour five-day working weeks (part 1 of article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). If the holiday falls on Sunday, then the working time on Friday does not decrease by one hour. In 2015, there will be 5 such pre-holiday days in Russia: April 30, May 8, June 11, November 3, December 31.

The Government of the Russian Federation has the right to make changes to the working calendar for 2015, to transfer non-working holidays to other days in order to rationalize the labor process (Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). So, for example, in 2015 the following transfers of days off are provided:

  • from Saturday 3 January to Friday 9 January;
  • from Sunday 4 January to Monday 4 May.

Thus, the New Year holidays will last 11 days in 2015, from 1 to 11 January. There will be 3 non-working days on Defender of the Fatherland Day: from February 21 to 23, in honor of International Women's Day - also 3: from March 7 to March 9. On the May holidays, citizens of the Russian Federation will have a rest from 1 to 4 and from 9 to 11 of the month. There will also be three consecutive days off for the Day of Russia - from June 12 to 14. In November, only one day will be a non-working holiday - Wednesday, the 4th day - National Unity Day.
