In order not to travel all the way to Tallinn from Moscow, we recommend spending the night in Tartu, which is called the spiritual capital of Estonia. This small town is well worth your evening to stroll through the old town and grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. The next day, having overcome the 2.5-3 hour drive to Tallinn, you will find yourself in the capital of Estonia with its beautiful old town and unique Estonian atmosphere, which is very different from what awaits you in Latvia and Lithuania. We recommend setting aside one full day for exploring Tallinn. After Tallinn, we recommend going to Riga, where you can stay for 2 days. One day here you can devote a walk through the old city, and the second day to its sights.

Then the route can be adjusted to your liking. If you go on a trip by car in the summer, then you can stay for 4-5 days in or to sunbathe and appreciate the rest on the Baltic Sea. If the sea is not included in your plans, then the next point of the route is Vilnius, where you can see all the most interesting things in the old town in half a day, and spend the second day in the Akropolis shopping center, which has been the main point of routes for all tourists for several years from Russia and Belarus. Here, with the remaining money, you can spend shopping therapy and with renewed vigor go back to Moscow or St. Petersburg.

"Czech"

Prague is one of the most popular and budget destinations for Russian tourists. The capital of the Czech Republic does not need an extra introduction, but it would be wrong to travel such a distance by car just for the sake of spending a weekend in Prague. Therefore, we recommend combining a visit to Prague with a holiday in the mountains or in Karlovy Vary (optional).

The way from Moscow to the Czech Republic is long (about 1800 km), so you will need one overnight stay in Poland. On the way to the Czech Republic, we recommend making a stop in Wroclaw or Warsaw. Both cities have something to offer tourists in their historical centers and this program will be enough to unwind in the evening after a long drive.

Spindlerov Mlyn is a popular ski resort in the Czech Republic, where you can have a great time at any time of the year. During a summer car trip in the Czech Republic, do not forget to plot your route so that you can see some of the castles in the Czech Republic, a map of which you can find.

On the way back from Prague to Moscow, it is better to take the Brno-Ostrava expressway, then head for Krakow, where you can spend the night and visit the old town before the finish line of your trip. By the way, if you decide to go by car to the Czech Republic this summer, don't forget to buy a vignette (the price is 13 euros for 10 days).

"Northern Poland"

Northern Poland may not be as popular with car enthusiasts, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. If you decide to travel this summer by car along this route, you will have the opportunity to get to know both Lithuanian capitals, where you can stay overnight. Beautiful lakes await you in Giziczko, where you can swim and relax for a couple of days. In Ketrzyn you can visit castles and Hitler's bunker. Along the entire road there will be exits to the ancient Polish castles, of which there are quite a few. You can spend a longer time on the beaches of Sopot, from where it is convenient to get to Gdansk and Gdynia, where there is also something to see. On the way back, you can visit Frombork, where the Copernicus House Museum, Cathedral Hill and another beautiful medieval castle are located.

This route requires additional and careful planning, as there are many attractions concentrated in northern Poland, for which it is worth designing the route yourself.

Route "Austrian lakes + Germany"

We recommend this route to lovers of beautiful landscapes and fast driving. The most boring part of this route is the road to Berlin. It is physically difficult to overcome 1800 km per day, so one intermediate stop in Warsaw or any other city in Poland is recommended, since there are a lot of hotels along the way. You should not stay in Berlin for a long time, as real beauties await you further. We strongly recommend spending the evening and night in Munich, where you can reach quite quickly via the German autobahn from Berlin. Early in the morning, head to the Austrian year-round resort of Zell am See. If you come here by car in the summer, then choose hotels that offer "summer cards" (Sommer card). These cards give unlimited free access to all ski lifts and excursions in the region. The Zell am See resort is located on the lake of the same name, which warms up to 23-24 degrees in summer, so you can safely relax here for 5-7 days that will remain in your memory for a long time.

On the way home, we highly recommend visiting Salzburg, where you can visit the impregnable castle and the house where Mozart was born. 4-5 hours drive from Salzburg is Vienna with its richest cultural program.
